Privacy Policy Ignito.Monitor

Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Applies to the ignito.tech website

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to ignito.tech: the reference table of 90 jurisdictions, the change-alert email list, the calculators, the filing-obligation pages and the open data export at /api/data.json.

It does not apply to forma., our document-automation application. forma. is a separate product with its own documents: see the forma. privacy policy and forma. terms of use.

2. The short version

There are no accounts on this site and no cookies. You can read every page, run every calculator and download the whole dataset without telling us anything about yourself. The only personal data we hold is the email address of people who asked to receive change alerts, and that record is deleted when they unsubscribe.

3. Cookies and analytics

No cookies. The site sets none, which is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

One counter. Page traffic is measured by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint devices. It reports aggregate figures — how many times a page was viewed, roughly from where — and does not build profiles or follow visitors across sites. We run no advertising trackers and no social-network pixels.

4. What stays in your browser

When you mark jurisdictions to watch on the home page, that list is stored by your own browser (local storage) so it survives a reload. It is never transmitted to us and we cannot read it. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes it.

5. Change alerts

If you subscribe to change alerts we process your email address, the scope you chose, the codes of the jurisdictions or region you follow, your interface language and the timestamp of your consent, for the sole purpose of sending you those alerts. The legal basis is your consent, given through the checkbox at sign-up.

Subscription uses double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm through a link in a first email. Delivery and list management are performed by our processor MailerLite (MailerLite Limited), and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Unsubscribing deletes the record. When you unsubscribe we do not merely stop sending: your address, your jurisdiction list and your consent timestamp are removed from the mailing provider. We do not retain them for future use. You may also ask us to remove you by writing to the address in section 10.

6. Sending a shortlist to the practice

The jurisdiction monitor lets you hand the jurisdictions you selected to Ignito Advisory. Nothing is transmitted in the background: the country codes you chose and your interface language travel only inside a link that you open yourself, and you can read that link before you click it. The shortlist itself carries no personal data. If you then write to us or book a call, the details you enter there are processed to answer you, on the basis of your request.

7. The open data export

The dataset at /api/data.json is served to anyone without keys, registration or rate limits, under the CC BY 4.0 licence. It contains jurisdiction data only — no personal data of any kind. Requests to it are not associated with any individual.

8. Hosting and logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical details of each request — IP address, user agent, the page requested — to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse. These are ordinary server logs, retained by the host under its own policy; we do not use them to identify or profile visitors.

9. Your rights

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or a similar law applies, you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to its processing, request a copy in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. For the change-alert list, withdrawal takes effect through the unsubscribe link and deletes the record. Any of these can also be exercised by writing to us. You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

10. Children and changes

The site is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date; the site's changes log records material updates.
