Terms of Use Ignito.Monitor

Effective date: 9 September 2026 · Applies to the ignito.tech website

Not legal advice. Ignito.Monitor is a free reference: a table of jurisdiction data, a set of general-rule calculators and a record of filing obligations, maintained by hand against primary sources. Reading it does not create a lawyer–client relationship, and nothing on the site constitutes legal or tax advice. For advice on your situation, consult a qualified lawyer or tax adviser in the relevant jurisdiction.

1. What this covers

These terms apply to ignito.tech — its pages, calculators, filing-obligation records, change alerts and the data export at /api/data.json. Our document-automation application forma. is a separate product governed by its own terms of use.

2. The site describes; it does not recommend

The Monitor sets out how a jurisdiction is arranged and how it is classically used. It does not tell you which jurisdiction to choose, does not rank jurisdictions by suitability, and does not assess whether any of them fits your transaction. Where a field is a matter of judgement rather than record, the site says so rather than resolving it for you.

3. The data, and its limits

Every dataset on the site is curated against primary sources and displays the date on which it was last checked. Each published value carries a link to the source it came from; where a value could not be confirmed, it is marked as unconfirmed and kept apart from confirmed material rather than presented as fact.

Law changes, sources move and mistakes are possible. Before you sign, file or pay on the strength of anything here, verify it against the primary source linked beside the value. A date shown on this site is a rule, not your deadline: deadlines that depend on a company's own financial year or on an event only you can date are published as formulas and marked as not derivable here.

4. Calculators

The calculators apply the general rule to the figures you type. They do not know your contracts, your substance, your treaty position or the exceptions written into your own documents, and they do not retain what you enter. Treat a result as an order of magnitude for orientation, not as the computation of your liability.

5. Change alerts

The alert emails are provided on a best-efforts basis. We aim to notice changes quickly, but we do not warrant that every change will be detected, that it will be reported within any period, or that an alert will reach you. The absence of an alert does not mean nothing has changed.

6. Licence and attribution

The jurisdiction dataset — the table, the fields behind it and the export at /api/data.json — is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. You may copy, redistribute, adapt and build upon it, including commercially, provided you credit Ignito.Monitor and link to the source. Attribution must not suggest that we endorse you or your use.

The licence covers the data. It does not cover the site's design, its code, the Ignito name and wordmark, or the editorial text of the pages, which remain ours.

7. Using the export fairly

The export is open, unauthenticated and free. We ask that you fetch it at a reasonable rate and cache what you take, rather than requesting it in a loop; we may rate-limit or block traffic that degrades the service for others. Do not present the data in a way that implies it is warranted, certified or advisory.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided free of charge and as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site — including missed deadlines, penalties, tax assessed, or decisions taken about where to incorporate. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version always sits on this page with its effective date, and material updates are recorded in the site's changes log. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
